Tracing its roots to 1909, Roger State University celebrates 20 years as a regional university. It is the Tulsa metro’s only public residential university, allowing students to fully participate in the traditional college experience.

Impact and Excellence:

RSU has degree programs in Oklahoma’s top 10 fastest-growing industry sectors, and has built a reputation as a leading regional university for healthcare students—nursing, allied health, medical/molecular biology and other programs—with graduates advancing to medical, dental, chiropractic and professional schools.

RSU offers unique degree programs across varied disciplines along with unmatched facilities, including an on-campus nature reserve, research land dedicated for biological and social sciences, and a behavioral sciences lab. The school’s bachelor’s degree programs produce students capable of graduate-level, original research and projects during their capstone courses.

RSU is consistently recognized for its value in offering a quality education. RSU students graduate with some of the lowest student debt in the nation, as noted by U.S. News and World Report.

Campus Life:

On-campus students can choose from a mix of residential life options, including apartments and traditional dormitory-style housing. RSU has more than 30 student organizations that promote involvement and leadership within the campus and surrounding communities. Sports are also a big part of campus life. RSU competes as a member of the NCAA Division II in the MIAA Conference, fielding 12 men’s and women’s teams, along with cheer and dance teams.
