Dr. Hayden Harrington is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity and Director of Esports at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Esports is one of the fastest-growing segments in sports and entertainment. SWOSU is a highly recognized name in the Esports world and they even have their own area on the Weatherford campus. In this presentation, Dr. Harrington will share his research on how Esports contributes to student retention and discuss how K - 12 and higher education institutions can develop their own Esports program to promote student success.
