The College of the Muscogee Nation, the state’s premier tribal college, has degree programs to meet the unique needs of students seeking careers in the tribal sector. Degrees will also serve as a foundation for a bachelor’s degree.

Mvskoke Language Certificate, General Studies, and Tribal Services are CMN’s most popular programs.

CMN is the premiere Tribal College in Oklahoma and focuses on strengthening revitalization of the Mvskoke Language and culture. CMN’s campus was featured on an episode of FX’s Reservation Dogs, and the Mvskoke Community Garden was featured on Oklahoma Gardening and the Mvskoke Gardening Series. In November, CMN will also be featured in an episode of Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid.

Many Muscogee Nation (MCN) Tribal Leaders have attended and/or graduated from CMN, including MCN 2nd Chief, Del Beaver, and Lighthorse Police Chief, Richard Phillips. Danielle Fixico, an Indigenous Artist and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman (MMIW) Advocate, is a CMN Alumni and Instructor.

March 23-26, 2025, CMN will be hosting the American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) National Basketball Tournament in Okmulgee, OK.
